DIG improves the delivery of potable water and reliable sanitation and solid waste management services around the world by identifying bottlenecks and providing technical assistance and capacity building to utilities, local governments, small service providers, households and financial institutions. We have advised utilities on how to improve their operations and obtain loans, while helping households access government subsidies and become reliable clients for utilities. We have assisted local governments and civil society organizations to jointly prioritize and successfully implement community water infrastructure projects. DIG’s basic service delivery programs include KIWASH, SUWASA, WCP, MWRP, GPIMG, Urban Advisory Program, ECAP, Strategic Support for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Investments in Ethiopia, the Liberia Collaborative Support for Health Program, Liberia Municipal Water Project and Urbis.
