With funding from USAID through the Tijara Program, Louis Berger Group (LBG) contracted DIG to offer a comprehensive training of trainers (TOT) program in Iraq. Focusing on CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) courses, DIG helped provide real-life training opportunities for microfinance practitioners from Iraq. DIG updated CGAP’s training courses in both English and Arabic in the subjects of Financial Analysis, Accounting, Operations Risk Management, Product Development, Delinquency Management, and Human Resources Management. We assessed the TOT candidates’ current knowledge of the modules; trained the First Generation of Microfinance Trainers and issued formal certifications. (2009-2010)
