DIG is seeking
candidates for a three year, $5.2 million USAID-funded program in Cote
d’Ivoire:
Director of Finance:
The
Director of Finance will oversee all financial accounting systems, procurement,
expenses (including reporting of expenses), and monthly financial reports,
ensuring that all work is carried out with the highest regard for compliance
and financial accountability. He will also oversee all administrative
functions, including compliance with USAID operational policies and regulations
and DIG practices. In coordination with the Chief of Party, s/he will develop
annual budgets that are aligned with the project work plan. S/he will also
ensure compliance with contractual, USAID/USG, and local requirements for
reporting, finance, and administration. S/he will also ensure payroll processes
and adherence to local human resources policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
The Director of Finance is expected to have a master’s
degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or other relevant
field. A minimum of eight years of experience in administrative and financial
management of international development programs funded by USAID and other
donors. In depth knowledge and experience with USG financial reporting and
compliance requirements. Experience in managing donor-funded procurements.
Demonstrated supervisory experience of professional staff. Fluent in French and
English.
