Video on Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-Funded Inclusive Governance Program Wins Two Telly Awards

The Development Innovations Group (DIG) is pleased to announce that  Pathways Out of Poverty , a video produced in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Multi Platform Media, has been awarded two Bronze Telly Awards in the Charitable/Not-For-Profit and Social Responsibility categories. The video highlights the Global Program for Inclusive Municipal Governance (GPIMG), a USD 25 million initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that supports city leadership and community-based partnerships throughout Africa to develop inclusive urban policies and better resources allocation for the urban poor.   The video focuses on four of the six GPIMG project areas, and brings to the screen the stories of the blossoming partnerships between city governments and community groups in their efforts to improve the lives of the urban poor. Since 2010, DIG has been providing technical support and monitoring and evaluation services to the foundation and to its grantees in all GPIMG cities.

The Telly Awards seek annually to honor outstanding achievements in local and regional television, non-broadcast productions, and online videos and commercials.
